This hotel surprised me pleasantly during my xmas stay. The customer service was excellent as I received a welcoming call and was offered an upgrade to an apartment due to a lack of ready rooms. the food selection was plentiful and delicious.
The hotel lacked staff availability, as we had trouble finding someone to provide us with a hairdryer. The hallway was filled with the smell of smoke, making it an unpleasant experience for non-smokers.

The location of the hotel is convenient, being just outside the village center and down the hill. It is close to a few attractions such as the maritime museum and the Ibsen museum.
The WiFi connection is unreliable, which made it difficult to work.

The breakfast was surprisingly good, with a decent selection of food and drinks. the location of the hotel was very convenient, just a short walk from the city center and close to public transportation. the room was also quite spacious and had a comfortable bed.
My overall experience at this hotel was not great. the Wifi connection was very poor and disconnecting frequently, making it hard to get any work done.

The staff was cute and helpful, provided excellent service. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great selection for breakfast. Convenient location near city center. Historic and charming atmosphere. Good storage facilities for e-bikes. Enjoyed the TV lounge and affordable wine.
Everything was fantastic.

We loved the convenient location close to the city center and university, just a short walk down the hill. The staff was hospitable and helpful, providing great service. the room was very clean and comfy, with modern amenities like a nice bathroom and space to store our bags. Breakfast had a good spread with hot options like fried eggs and potatoes, fresh fruit, and even some veggies.
Could not be improved in any way.
